There are a few steps. First, we create a cast of your head and determine the size and shape of the system you need, then measure and design your piece. Both of those happen in one appointment. Your design and cast are then sent to the manufacturer, and the system takes three to six months to be completed. On install day, we wash your hair and apply your finished system.

We recommend having the piece removed, cleaned, and reinstalled roughly every six to seven weeks. That timing can shift depending on your situation and preferences.
